Here we go again! I Guess I couldn’t get it right so they are making me take the Presidency over. What a year! It is now a Memory! Let’s look ahead to Tomorrow!
The OEC/OLTA Seminar was a very successful conclusion to 2008. Attendance was great and the topics covered very informative. I am actually looking forward to the 2010 session. I spent the week following the Seminar traveling around the State for the installation of new Chapter Officers. I am very impressed with who has been chosen to help me in this administrative year. I believe we are going to see growth in every Chapter and renewed commitment by the industry to enhance the professional respect due Escrow Professionals.
So many changes are happening in the Real Estate Industry, not just from within but from the State and National levels as well. The demands made upon Escrow and Settlement Professionals in this economy can only lead to the realization that we are a significant cog on the economic wheel.
Our commitment to Education and the maintenance of High Ethical Standards by our members, together with the camaraderie with which we function as the Oregon Escrow Council and American Escrow Association, bring high praises form those in authority who are now listening to our voice.
2009 is going to be a year marked as one of change. I am anxious to begin the work of OEC with the New Chapter Presidents and Directors you have chosen. Please become involved and communicate with us your desires. We need your help and input if we are going to succeed for you!
